A knowledge-sharing workshop titled “High Level knowledge sharing forum on reintegration in Ethiopia” has been designed with the aim to disseminate and discuss with national and local partner institutions the lessons learned through the project implemented by the ILO to support the reintegration of returnees in Ethiopia.
During the two-day event, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and to learn from other international practices.
Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss and agree on how to strategically collaborate to upscale the support to the reintegration of returnees in Ethiopia.
During the first day, titled “Returnees Experience Sharing Workshop”, returnees will share their experiences, so that they can learn from each other and the outcome of this forum would help guide future support to returnees. Moreover, the outcome which will show what worked and what didn’t from the beneficiary point of view. A special mobile app named SIRA (Employment) will also be presented and tested.
The second day is titled “Knowledge Sharing Panel Discussion on reintegration” and foresees a panel discussion on return and reintegration during which knowledge will be shared among partners on the different aspects of return and reintegration. It will also highlight best practices and lessons learned in regards to return and reintegration.
